- SEMO Homecoming parade
- 9 high school football games

A complete schedule through November is available at www.kfvs12.com/webcast.
“We’re starting our 6th WebCast season and we can’t wait to get started,” said Paul Keener, Director of Marketing for KFVS12. “Our WebCast was the first, and is still the only multi-camera, TV quality internet presentation in the Heartland. It’s our continuing mission to provide more local content to more people more often and the WebCast helps us do that.”
According to Keener, additions to the WebCast schedule for winter and spring events will be posted at a later date. Those events are expected to include Redhawk men’s and women’s home basketball games, gymnastic meets, baseball, and possibly softball games.
The multi-camera WebCast will be presented live around the world at KFVS12.com, and then archived on the web site for users to watch at their convenience. Both the live presentation and the archived versions will be available free of charge with no subscription needed. The archived versions are normally posted within several hours after the end of event coverage.
Randy Ray, former KFVS12 Sports Director, is scheduled to call the action for most of the high school games. Current KFVS12 Sports Director Todd Richards is slated to announce the Redhawk football games.
Since the KFVS12.com WebCast premiered in September of 2007, the on-line video presentation has featured nearly 400 regional events including local high school and college football, basketball, baseball, soccer, gymnastics, and volleyball events, along with softball, parades, and ceremonies.
