Back to School Bash gives away school supplies to families in need | News

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Hundred of students are read to go back to school, thanks to an event held in Dexter.

Hope International in Bernie, Mo. hosted a Back To School Bash Tuesday at the Lighthouse Church in Dexter.

Kristin Stevens with Hope International says the Back To School Bash is where they give all school supplies to those in need in Stoddard County.

The bash started at 9 a.m. and continuee until 3 p.m. Stevens says they had over 300 kids who have registered and everything is free. Supplies offered include: haircuts, dental, vision and hearing tests and food.

Organizers say it's important for community members to work together to help.
