STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Stoddard County Sheriff's Office arrested three people on Thursday, Jan. 26 on meth charges.

Jesse W. Wessell, 23, and John E. Moon, both from Poplar Bluff, Mo. were arrested and charged with the class c felony possession of precursors to the making of meth. Their bond was set at $75,000 each cash only.

Jerry L. Burgner III, 26, of Dexter, Mo. was charged with the class c felony possession of a controlled substance, meth. His bond was set at $35,000 cash only.

According to the sheriff's office, on January 26, they received information of several people in Advance, Mo. trying to buy precursors for making meth. Deputies found them, Burgner, Wessell and Moon, and when they searched the vehicle, they say they found precursors for making meth along with a quantity of meth.

The sheriff's office says at this time all three remain in the Stoddard County Jail.
