Dexter man charged with 63 counts of child porn possession, 1 count child molestation | Crime

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney Russ Oliver says a Dexter man previously charged with one count of child porn possession, now faces more charges after an additional investigation.

Arlie Lewis has now been charged with 63 counts of child porn possession, one count of child molestation in the first degree and a misdemeanor drug charge.

Oliver says after another investigation, 900 more images were recovered through a forensic computer investigation. He says most of the images were of toddlers and children less than six or seven years old engaged is sex acts with adults or posing nude in a sexually explicit  manner.

Lewis' bond has been amended to $250,000 cash only upon the additional information. With the additional charges, Oliver says Lewis faces a maximum sentence of up to 472 years in prison.
