STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Stoddard County Sheriff's Department released Thursday some recent arrests and charges.

They include:

Bernie teens arrested for arson

BERNIE, MO (KFVS) - Stoddard County Sheriff's deputies arrested two Bernie teens for arson. 

Sahara Megan Cobb, 17, of Bernie  and Allissa Wilhite, 18, were both charged with 2nd degree arson.

According to the probable cause statement, police dispatch got a phone tip on Monday that Cobb and another female juvenile burned down the Bernie City Park Pavilion.

Court documents show after responding to a shoplifting call at Dollar General,  Sgt. Patrick Cole read Wilhite the Miranda warning and questioned her about the fire.  Police say Wilhite told them she and Cobb, along with the juvenile were bored and set fire to the pavilion.

According to the probable cause statement, Wilhite told police the juvenile used a lighter to set the fire while Cobb was instructing her.

The juvenile confessed to the crime after being questioned by police and a county juvenile officer.

Pros. Attorney files for 1 trial for 5 charged with drug possession

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Stoddard County Prosecuting Attorney Russ Oliver says five people were charged with possession of a controlled substance.

According to Oliver, Darren White, Mark Cox, Chasity Jackson, David Burnett and Bradley Jackson were charged for events that occurred in a home in Stoddard County on April 4.

He said although each defendant has different sentencing enhancements with their charge, all defendants face the same charge for the same series of acts or transactions. Oliver said he filed to try all five defendants in one trial by jury to save Stoddard County the time, manpower and expense.

The five were arrested after an extended ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity. The Stoddard County Sheriff says a search warrant was applied for and received. They say when the group was arrested, three grams of meth along with needles, scales and other smoking devices were confiscated.

Two arrested for Taco Bell robberies in Dexter, Poplar Bluff

STODDARD AND BUTLER COUNTIES, MO (KFVS) - Two women were arrested Tuesday, March 6 in connection with robberies at Taco Bells in Dexter and Poplar Bluff.

Stephanie Nicole Parkison, 26, of Fisk, Mo. and Brittany May Cannon, 20 were arrested in Poplar Bluff, Mo and taken to the Poplar Bluff Police Department. Police say Parkison was interviewed and admitted that she and Cannon were responsible for the robbery at the Dexter Taco Bell on Monday, March 5 and the Poplar Bluff Taco Bell on Feb. 28.

According to police, Dexter officers responded to the Taco Bell at 1403 W. US. Bus. 60 on Tuesday, March 6 about a robbery they say happened Monday, March 5 at 11:53 p.m. They say there were two possible suspects wearing all black and possibly in a silver or grey Grand Prix. Officers were told the suspects pulled a gun during the robbery.

Three Bloomfield men arrested after home burglary

BLOOMFIELD, MO (KFVS) - Three Bloomfield men face charges after a home burglary.

Jacob Kenneth Lunderman, 18, of Bloomfield is charged with Class C felony burglary 2nd degree. 

Dustin Walker, 19, and George Allen Doolin Jr. both of Bloomfield are charged with Class C felony of burglary 2nd degree, Class C felony of receiving stolen property, Class A misdemeanor of possession of marijuana, and Class A misdemeanor of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.  

Bond for all three suspects is set at $12,500 cash only each.

According to the Stoddard County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Travis Stafford was investigating a burglary at a home on County Road 514 on Feb. 19 when he received information of a vehicle seen at the home at the time of the burglary.

The vehicle matched the description of a vehicle that had been driven by a man with a probation parole warrant on him.  Lunderman was taken into custody.

Essex man arrested on drug charge

ESSEX, MO (KFVS) - An Essex man faces drug charges.

Harold Eugene Worth Jr. 43, of Essex was arrested on a warrant for attempting to manufacture a controlled substance, according to the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department.

According to the probable cause statement, police entered a home on North Mulberry in Dexter and found an active meth lab and meth making materials.

Worth's bond is set at $50,000.  He remained in the Stoddard County Jail Saturday morning.

Essex man arrested, charged with child molestation

ESSEX, MO (KFVS) - An Essex man was arrested Jan. 30 and charged with first degree child molestation of an 11-year-old girl.

Danny Keith Foushee, 57 of Essex, Mo., was arrested and charged with first degree child molestation.

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety says on Jan. 19 they responded to a local school in reference to a hot line investigation. They say Missouri Children's Division was investigating an allegation of a juvenile who said she was inappropriately touched by a man. The alleged victim was an 11-year-old girl who attended the school.

DPS says the student claimed that her grandmother's friend had touched her during a recent visit in Sikeston in December of 2011. DPS set up a safe exam with the girl at the Beacon Health Center. Information from the forensic interview and the police investigation led to detectives talking with Foushee on Jan. 30. Foushee was then arrested.
