Manger Full of Toys event Dec. 15 in Dexter | Community Spirit

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - The 3rd Annual Christmas Toy Giveaway was held Saturday, Dec. 15 the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.

The event, Manger Full of Toys, started at 10 a.m. They offered free toys for children and teens with no prerequisite.

A couple of thousand new and lightly used toys were given away at the third annual event.

Over a hundred people from the surrounding area were on hand getting gifts for hundreds of children.

Organizers say the event is not only about the toys but its about family togetherness.

They say the need in this area that is growing due to tough economic times, and want to help out those families in need.
