New Sonic in Dexter

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - While driving through Dexter this morning, I stopped and  took a picture of the new Sonic that has opened up.  

The new Sonic is located at the corner of One Mile Road and Specialty Drive in Dexter, MO.  It is super nice.  

I also drove by the old Sonic that was located on Business Hwy 60.  Sonic was at this location for many, many years.  It brings back lots of memories.  It is the last picture posted.  I'm excited about the new Sonic.

Crews renovating Esquire Theatre on Broadway

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Heartland News got a first look inside the Esquire Theatre on Broadway in Cape Girardeau on Friday. Crews are getting ready to start making inside renovations.

The Broadway Esquire Entertainment Group plans to turn it into an arts and entertainment venue.

It will show art house and independent films as well community performances.

If everything goes as planned, the group hopes to have the theatre open in 2013.

Chrisman Tire in Dexter will hold an open house

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - Chrisman Tire will have their open house on Tuesday, March 1.

It will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and you can register to win a free set of Toyo Extenzas. There will also be discounts on tires and services and a drawings on the hour.
