Rte. 114 to be reduced for edge rut repairs

Rte. 114 to be reduced for edge rut repairs

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - The Missouri Department of Transportation says Route 114 will be reduced to one lane while crews perform ridge rut repairs.

This section of road is located between Route 25 and County Road 114.

Weather permitting, crews will be working Wednesday, May 15 and Thursday, May 15 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

MoDOT says the work zone will be marked with signs. Drivers are urged to use extreme caution while in the area.

MoDOT Southeast Dist. properties currently reduced in price

(KFVS) - The Missouri Department of Transportation Southeast District has parcels currently for sale.

According to MoDOT, prices were recently reduced for properties located on Route 60 in Stoddard County, Route PP in Butler County and Route 74 in Cape Girardeau County.

The 5KFVS Run/Walk is coming up! It will be May 18 in downtown Cape Girardeau, Mo.

This year, to celebrate the 5th year, we're adding a 12K!

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - The Dexter Fire Department will present "Being Safe from Fire" and a fire truck demonstration on Tuesday, May 14 at 10:15 a.m.

37th Annual Old Timers Days May 25-26

PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) - The River Hills Antique Tractor Club will hold the 37th annual Old Timers Days on May 25 and 26.

The event will be at the Seminary Picnic Grounds in Perryville, Mo. There will be antique tractors, cars and trucks on display as well as threshing, sawmilling, hay bailing, corn shelling and more.

Several area crafters will be there as well.

Iris flower in Dexter

DEXTER, MO (KFVS) - I took this picture yesterday in my yard.  

A dear friend gave me these flowers to plant several years ago, and I think of her every year when they start to bloom.
